The members of the Hare Krishna Temple in Dallas tried Saturday to move past a fire that started in their kitchen and caused damage to some of their building Friday night. A large amount of damage was done to the kitchen and great hall where members hold feasts on a regular basis.
In North America, as we enter another summer of Rathayatras, there are of course many hardworking devotees we must thank for putting in the effort to make dozens of festivals happen all over the country.

From June 28 through July 27, more than 50 ISKCON devotees will travel in two buses on an adventure across the USA and Canada. The tour is organized by ISKCON Youth Ministry volunteers to inspire youth in Krishna consciousness.
Lesmahagow, a quiet village near Glasgow, founded by monks in the 12th century is again home to monks but of a different order. In 1987 Hare Krishna monks moved into a humble property here, and began to develop an ambitious program and turned the site into a state-of-the-art Eco Farm.
